“Nuggets of Info, Robert Kiyosaki and My Filters”

On September 10, 2001, I returned home from Sedona, AZ. It was a great place to relax and get grounded after all of the inspiration I received from spending the three days prior with Robert Kiyosaki, other financial speakers and 100 other folks hungry for learning. The focus was taking your business from small to big and creating a mindset to receive extreme financial prosperity. Now this was something I could sink my teeth into!

The surprise, for me, was there was more focus on how you had to “be and think“ to be rich rather than the “how-to's.“ Again, right up my alley. I watch my coaching clients create businesses and wealth all the time. We still work on shifting their mindset because they find themselves still having to work hard/a lot and not feeling totally at peace with what they have created. They have just found different things to “worry“ about. So what if there was a different way? Would your paradigm allow for a way of thinking and strategies that say, “The process is fun, easy and prosperous?“ Really?

Below are the nuggets of information I found most useful from the seminar. (BTW this seminar was not open to the public. It was for CPI distributors only. The companies like me who sell Kiyosaki's products.)

This IS how the blissfully prosperous people think. Try it. If what you are doing currently is not getting you your ultimate desire results, than you have NOTHING to lose and EVERYTHING to gain. Let go of the struggle. Choose something different. I know you know this. BUT! It's hard to let go of what you know. Going BIG can seem scary. But the truth is, it's harder to stay small and scared. Your soul knows it, you know it.

See how many areas of your life you can apply these nuggets to. I find myself really loving what I'm discovering about my primary relationship using these gems!

  • Don't be cheap. When you want to buy something, get what you REALLY want the first time. How many times have you tried to substitute your desire with something that costs less and then find out it doesn't perform the way you'd like it? Then you finally go get what you really wanted. How much money would you have saved if you just got what you wanted in the first place? How much money did you waste on the substitution?
  • Be willing to understand ALL parts of your business. Learn what you are afraid of. That doesn't mean you have to DO it all. Just learn it. Take it on with excitement.
  • What feedback is your business giving you? Everything that is happening, good or stressful, is a direct reflection of you. Eeeeooowww! Darn. It's the good news, bad news. This makes YOU responsible for all that is happening. Which means you can always redirect things in a direction that brings you fulfillment. SO what is your business, job, co-workers, employees, income, profitability, relationship and kids reflecting back to you?
  • Your single biggest expense is the money you don't make. How many opportunities do you let pass you by because you're either scared or don't even recognize the opportunity? Argh!
  • Let go of what you've been taught.
  • If your business needs you, you're needy. If you can't take off for a couple of weeks at a time with ease, then you need to hire someone smarter and more competent than you. The goal is to only do the pieces you LOVE about your business and gain the freedom to leave whenever you desire.
  • You may need to look stupid and incompetent in the journey to wealth. You'll be learning new things and letting go of old familiar things/thoughts. Don't let your ego be the reason you never have extreme wealth.
  • Things get hard right before the breakthrough! This is the eleventh hour when you must trust that what you need will show up. The people, opportunity, money, and circumstances will be there. Most folks quit at this time.
  • Always use/borrow someone else's money to do the deal.
  • Do the scary thing. Challenge your spirit.
  • You deserve to let peace, prosperity, and effortless flow.
  • Give more to your customers and other people. How can you serve more people? Giving is a sign of abundance because you know you will ALWAYS have more than enough of ALL that you need and desire. This does not mean to sacrifice your profits, time, and energy. It means to be of service when it feels good. You'll know when it's right.
